The last few months have been insanely busy. I landed a contract for a Children’s Book series for Chief and Sarge. This project alone took up nearly all of my free time over the past few months. I am also killing it at my Comic Con appearances, selling out all my original art… show after show. I spent even more time creating new art in, massive volumes, for my upcoming appearances. Another task I undertook was creating a daily drawing for INKtober. On some days, I created a few inked drawings. These were all in the form of Sketch Cards for my upcoming appearances. These drawings were not published for the public to view…. until NOW!

INKtober 2021 – DAY 1 – ANIMANIACS – Wakko, Dot, and Yakko
Day one of INKtober 2021 began with one of the most popular sets of characters I have ever drawn. I get a ton of commission requests for the Animaniacs at my shows. Yakko, Wakko, and Dot Warner are drawn here with pen and ink… and is drawn old school using a real pen and a little blood, sweat, and tears. When making my comic con appearances, I cannot keep any original art of these zany characters on my table for very long. Art will fly before the first day is up. People are tired of buying digital prints at these shows and they are trending towards real art made by hand which is a great move for me! This reminds me that I need to create more sketch covers using these fan-favorite characters from the Warner Bros.’s lot.
How do I top this? Proceed to DAY TWO!!!
