INKtober 2021 – DAY 31 – Popeye and Olive Oyl
Holy cow! These two drawings came out so freaking good! I want to write and draw a Popeye comic book now. I remember watching Popeye in the morning during a program called Three Stooges Theater where a local channel would play a short from the Three Stooges, and then play a Max Fleischer Popeye cartoon, and then conclude with another short from the Three Stooges. Later at three o’clock, it was time for Popeye and Friends where the local station played Popeye cartoons from the 1960’s. Popeye was my favorite animated show for many years and was a huge influence on my cartooning career. I hope you enjoy these two drawings as much as I do!
And this concludes INKtober for 2021. I will get this colored up and make a new post in a few weeks! Well, as busy as I am… it may be a few months.
