INKtober 2021 – DAY 25 – Pikachu as Star Trek’s Captain Kirk
I am a HUGE fan of Star Trek. My brother and I would stay up all night to watch marathons on late-night television in the summer. Believe it or not, when I was a kid, running a show back to back to back for hours upon hours was never done. Today, this is so common. There were no “in demand services. We had 5 stations on the boob tube and those channels signed off around midnight and would not sign back on until 6:00 am… except in the summer when they would show these special marathons. My brother would pass out around midnight but I always made it to the end. I lived for these summer marathons!!! Oh to be a kid again with nothing to do but sleep until noon.
