INKtober 2021 – DAY 14 – King of the Hill, the rest of the cast
Once again, I felt compelled to create a full set of nine cards for my upcoming show appearance at Bayou City Comic Con. To wind down the set, I chose Boomhauer, Bill, and Dale from the group of drinking buddies Hank hangs in the alley with after work. For the last two cards, I chose Connie, who I felt was just as key a character as was Bobby Hill, and Luanne Platter who is a fan favorite.
The show is getting a revival very soon. It has been kept secret for years, but it is happening very soon with the show picking up many years into the future. Which characters will return is a question diehard fans have been asking. No one but Tom Petty can portray Lucky and the fear is that the character will be killed off along with Luanne who was voiced by the late Brittany Murphy. Recasting Luanne will be ever so tricky. Rumors are swirling that Lucky and Luanne will kick off the series premier having perished in a tragic accident, and the premiere will take place at their funeral. Of course, people at these comic cons love to talk and pretend they really know what is going on behind the scenes. Time will tell as to the accuracy of the reports from my secret intel source.
