December 6, 2025: New Comic Strip from Charmy’s Army the Comic Strip – “Tim’s Tales and Yogi’s Truth: A Legacy of Love” Comic Strip 2 of 6

In today's comic strip from Charmy's Army, we pay tribute to my dog Yogi who passed away a few weeks ago. Here is the second of six comic strips dedicated to my best friend.

Missing the Sound of Yogi Crazy Barking in Today’s Comic Strip

In the second comic strip dedicated to my dear friend, Yogi Bear Jones, I fondly recall how his exuberance would fill the air with his joyful barks. Despite his small size, his enthusiasm was a force to be reckoned with. It was impossible to feel irritated by his spirited noise, especially as he dashed around in circles, a whirlwind of energy. He was a yappy, lovable companion, and I find myself aching for the sound of his cheerful barking once more… just one more time. Memories is all I have now.

If Yogi was an acronym, his name would have stood for Yappy Overflowing Glorious Innocence, beautifully summing up his vibrant spirit and the infectious enthusiasm he shared with everyone he encountered. Yogi was a saint sent from Heaven, embodying kindness and compassion in the purest form, always ready to extend a helping hand or offer a warm smile that could bring light to even the most challenging days. His laughter, reminiscent of gentle melodies, had the unique ability to uplift those around him, fostering an atmosphere filled with love and joy wherever he roamed. In both quiet moments of introspection and in the joyful company of friends, Yogi’s essence radiated a profound sense of peace and happiness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The house feels overwhelming in its silence since Yogi has departed for Heaven. Weekend morning, I find myself sitting by his grave in the backyard, as the world around me stirs quietly awake. I long to hear his joyful barking, and the absence of that sound weighs heavily on my heart. I miss my little buddy more than words can express.

In the third panel of today’s comic strip, the yorkie is barking with all the strength in his tiny body, and it takes me back to the one time I witnessed Yogi do the same. My brother-in-law had knocked on the door in a playful way that sounded much like an intruder knocking the door down, and Yogi instantly leapt into action as if he were ready to defend us at any cost. I can still see that moment so clearly, his little chest puffed out, his eyes fierce with determination, his whole spirit focused on keeping us safe. I drew that same expression into today’s comic strip, holding onto the memory of how brave he looked. Seeing it on the page fills me with warmth and pride, and it makes me want to say it to him again,…

“Good boy Yogi, good brave little boy”.

Yogi’s story is to be continued…
