3. Weaver as Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Alexander Hamilton

I love a great challenge! Here is a sketch card commission I created for Hill Country Comic Con. This commission features Weaver from my comic strip Charmy’s Army as Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Alexander Hamilton. I created this sketch card for the niece of one of my readers. He picked it up on Saturday and was so happy with the results. The buyer, Rudy, returned Sunday to tell me his niece loved it so much that she was in tears over it. That was the biggest compliment I have received to this day.

I scoured over hundreds of photos trying to pick just the right shot. The more research I dig through, the better the results. This card was, by far, the most challenging mash up I created in 2019. It was also the most rewarding mashup I created in 2019.
