6. Nightmare Before Christmas Sketchcards
These cards came out so good! Again, I love drawing other styles and making them my own. I created a set of nine cards for The Nightmare Before Christmas, These are the top three. Copic markers blend so well when used on the correct bristol board. The issue is that when creating these in color, the artist requires a ton of different shades of multiple colors. I had to invest in over a hundred dollars worth of markers. Once these all sell, I will lose about fifty bucks… but I will have a bunch of great markers for my next set of commissions. So eventually, profits will be had.
I have also made these into a set of Print Cards. These have been selling quite well, but not a good as I anticipated. Predicting what the market is looking for from show to show is so incredibly difficult! They do sell well enough that I am very happy with this new addition to my traveling art show.
