Here’s the comic strip debut of Little Anna French! Last week, Charmy confidently proclaimed she was two years old, but surprise, surprise, Anna is actually six! I’m planning to stretch this two-strip saga into a grand six-strip extravaganza. It turns out there are a ton of tales that never got the six-strip treatment; I’ll be bringing quite a few to life. So when the treasury collection drops, readers are in for a comedy buffet of bonus content. And just wait until you see the missing strips—Frenchy had no clue she was a big six-year-old! Anna’s here to clear it up: she’s officially a grown-ass woman now!

So, who is Anna French? She is the niece of Frenchy and the daughter of Frenchy’s only brother who was been reported missing in action while serving his country many years ago. Consequently, her father is absent from her life. Anna was born two months after her father’s disappearance, which means she has never had the opportunity to know him. Raised by her mother, a single parent working multiple jobs to provide for them, Anna is developing into a resilient and independent young girl at just six years of age.
