“So what award would be a GOOD thing?” asks Charmy.

“Oh, the award would be a Reubin”, Turtle informs Charmy.

“Reubens are worst than strawberries!”, reacts Charmy with a soured face. “I hate corn beef!”

“The award is named after cartoonist Rube Goldberg”, says Turtle who looks a bit aggravated. “Winning that award is like a movie actor winning an Oscar”.

“Well, then we have no chance of winning that one”, says Charmy with a laugh. “Is there an award where the judges can be bribed?”

“With what?!?”, asks Turtle. “I hear Davy is losing money at his comic con appearances faster than a balloon pops”.

“Thank goodness Davy keeps creating comic strips because he loves making silly comics”, says Charmy. “I mean, without us, what would Davy’s life be like?”

Up walks Davy who responds, “I would be able to sleep late on the weekends, I could take some real vacations, I could use my money to invest in my retirement, I could stop worrying if I can come up with more funny jokes”…

“Look, you don’t have anything to worry about there”, says Charmy. “Your jokes are NEVER funny”.

“Well, that’s a relief”, mumbles Davy.

“Glad I could cheer you up Davy”, says Charmy.
