As with every week’s comic strip, we continue the story beyond the borders of the published comic strip. Read below to experience what happens next and get a few more laughs to make your day complete. Laughter is the best medicine because it has no side effects… but it is not covered by insurance agencies, unfortunately. Of course, that is okay, because I give out my jokes FOR FREE!

So…

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IN TODAY’S COMIC STRIP?

Flimp responds by sarcastically saying, “Oopy eeky doop”!

“Ha!,” laughs Frenchy. “Flimp said not to feel bad because you are much more terrible at SO many other things”.

“Stupid monkey!” Charmy blurts out immediately in anger.

“Hey! I gonna another riddle for ya Charmy,” Frenchy says. “Do you wanna hear it?”

“Holy macca noodle, go ahead,” says Charmy.

“Okay. Let’s see if you can figure this one out,” says Frenchy. “A woman shoots her husband, then holds him underwater for five minutes. Next, she hangs him. Right after, they enjoy a lovely dinner. Explain how this is possible.”

“Um, she is a psychopath,” responds Charmy with a shocked look on his face. “She was a terrible murderer and she must be REALLY hot so the dude forgave her”.

“Nope. There was no attempted murder involved,” Frenchy informs Charmy. “She took a picture of him and developed it in her darkroom. Then she put it in a lovely frame and hung it on the wall.”

“I am just terrible at riddles,” admits Charmy.

“You just need to think outside of the box,” reveals Frenchy.

“You are so right,” agrees Charmy. “I need to step away from the obvious and look at other options”.

“No, I meant you should go outside for some fresh air,” says Frenchy. “I do not believe you showered today and you smell pretty ripe”.

“It’s my new cologne, Olor a Basura,” responds Charmy in a snobbish tone.

“You do know that in Spanish that translates to the smell of garbage, right?” asks Frenchy.

“The sales guy said this was the smell of festive joy,” reveals Charmy.

“Well, he obviously cannot speak Spanish… or smell,” says Frenchy.

2022 Show Season Starts Next Week

I am so excited about this year’s 2022 Comic Con Season! I am only appearing at 6 shows this year. I am slowing down a bit and will not take on any other shows. What is on my appearance schedule will be the only shows I will appear at this year. These shows are not profitable and have done very little to expand my brand. In 2023, I may cut my schedule in half and only do three shows, focusing on other bigger projects… so pop over and see me when you can!

Next weekend, on Saturday, I will be in Lake Jackson at BrazCon. This one-day show is a ton of fun every year.,, and is the ONE show where I actually feel like a real celebrity. My comic strip, Charmy’s Army, runs in the local paper so I have actual fans there who read my comic strip every week. This upcoming March will mark the beginning of the seventh year with Charmy’s Army running in this publication. This newspaper run has been the biggest reason that I am still chasing this dream. This long-run has been the only success I have ever truly had in my thirty years of chasing my cartooning dream. Whenever I am looking at yet another failed cartooning project, I can always look toward this newspaper run and feel a sense of worth.
