In today’s Charmy’s Army comic strip, we’re diving into uncharted territory with a gag that’s sure to make you laugh out loud. That’s right—our latest strip features a classic fart joke, bringing a gust of fresh humor to your day!
A Sneak Peek at the Gag
Without giving too much away, here’s a teaser: Sarge’s frustration reaches new heights as he imposes an 8 o’clock curfew on the gang. Weaver, ever the quick-witted ant, warns everyone about the dangers of lighting a match under such… pressurized circumstances. Charmy chimes in, noting that a misstep could take out most of Antlantis! It’s a perfect storm of humor, timing, and a little bit of gas.
Everyone loves a good FART GAG
Today’s funny uncensored comic strip handles a subject no other comic strip has ever handled within the confines of traditional newspapers. I may actually be the first cartoonist to expose this subject! Have you ever seen Garfield pass a little gas? As much lasagna as he eats, you would think Garfield would have a ton of fart jokes ready to go. What about Dagwood Bumstead and all those nasty sandwiches he eats in the middle of the night? Eating that late at night has to be tearing up that digestive system.
I am here to lead our industry into the future of real humor. Nothing says “funny” like a little fart gag. Just watch, in a matter of weeks, you will be seeing fart gags in Pearls Before Swine and Mother Goose and Grimm. I doubt Peanuts will jump on the fart bandwagon. I would love to read a strip where Charlie Brown misses the football and let’s out a fart when Lucy checks on him. Suddenly Linus is there fanning the area with his blanket as he says, “and you guys always make fun of me for carrying around the blanket. Who is the crazy one now?”
SO WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
I know you are all waiting with bated breath to hear what happens next. Admit it, you cannot get enough of these fart gags! Well… Sarge gets even madder. Out of frustration, he yells, “WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT!”
Frenchy responds asking in a drawn-out manner, “What are you-u-u-u talking about?”
Sarge yells back, “THAT’S IT! EVERYONE MUST ADHERE TO A CURFEW OF EIGHT O’CLOCK TONIGHT!”
Weaver looks shocked and warns, “If we are all adhering to a curfew at eight o’clock, please don’t ANYONE light a match!”
Charmy quickly agrees, “Yeah, we’ll take out most of Antlantis!”
The gag ends here as the Sarge goes on to explain what a curfew is. As you can guess, the gang is not very happy about this situation. This entire scenario is being worked into the upcoming animated series. The working title for this episode is “Clocked and Bloated”. Yeah, this episode is going to be about breaking curfew and breaking wind. I am SO excited about the animated series. I hope someone picks it up!
