INKtober 2020 – Robin from the Teen Titans

I know. I know… I am so late with my INKtober posts. This has been a bad week. I took off a few days two weeks ago from work so that I could work on these drawings but I had too many projects and just ended up working from home on projects for the day job. I tried again this week and had to go in on both of my days off to tend to some emergencies that reared their heads. I am, again, going to attempt to take three days off this week. I already know I will be unable to take them as well. I am probably not going to complete INKtober this year, but I am giving it my best shot.

Today, I am presenting Robin from the Teen Titans. Robin makes the perfect leader of this adolescent team of super heroes. He has just enough insanity in his personality to make his leadership sheer brilliance. All great leaders need a little madness in their brains. Why else would they want to be a leader in the first place? All that stress and responsibility. You have to be a little mad or you’d go crazy. Does that make sence?

If I were to reboot Teen Titans for a third time, I would have Robin and Starfire recently broken up and then lead the viewers wondering if they will get back together. I would even love to send Starfire away for season two and bring in a new love interest for Robin. Season three would open up with Starfire returning with a rekindled love for Robin after not seeing him for a year. I would now age the characters up a bit. Robin is now torn between his new girlfriend Batgirl and his old girlfriend Starfire… and mix it up with all sorts of crazy antics.

I think a balance of the original Teen Titans with Teen Titans Go would work nicely!
