FACT – My comic strip only runs in 5 newspapers.

FACT – I need 1,000 weekly newspapers to run my strip in order to be a cartoonist full time.

FACT – I am a hard-headed dreamer who BELIEVES success will fall into my lap on day soon.

Okay, there is no “SAD TRUTH” about my comic strip. The momentum is actually blazing at the speed of lightning. This week alone my Facebook page added 72 new likes! I have never grown that many followers in a week. I had a record day last week on this website that brought in around a thousand people in one day. I average around 75 – 100 people per day.

Coming up in two weeks will be my big appearance at Bell County Comic Con. I hoping the string of amazing luck continues. With all investments logged in, I am just above “break even” for the year. I have not had a highly profitable show this year. I am praying that Bell County Comic Con will be that big show I’ve been dreaming of. I have always broke even at this show, so I am expecting the addition of all this fan art will catapult me into a massively successful outing.

FACT – Um… I may only be in 4 papers now. It appears one of the papers up north has gone off the grid. Dang it! I am THAT much further away from hitting my goal of 1,000 weekly newspapers!!!!

I think I need a syndicate to pick me up….
