I just finished coloring the new cover for Charmy’s Army issue number one. This new cover art is for the retail version of my comic book featuring 5 pages of original bonus content not available in the “tradeshow” versions.

The original versions I sold at my comic con appearances included full page pinups of my most popular mashup prints. The two printings each offered variant covers also showcasing a mashup print from my work over the past two years. The sold out Variant number one featured a mashup parody of Frenchy as Doctor Aphra and Charmy as Darth Vader. Variant two is close to being sold out and features Warrior wench Wendy fighting Charmy mashed up as Venom.

This new issue will remove the mashups and replace the space with a very special intro for the series which will serve as a vital launching pad for the series. The opening will offer a subtle foreshadowing to where I want to take the comic strip in the future if a syndicate ever picks up Charmy’s Army. I can only imagine the amount of work that would pour out of my soul should I ever get syndicated.
