INKtober Day 26 – Charmy as Adam Ant

Again, I am writing these posts for the week well in advance. I am going to be working late every night so I can  get my day job’s work done prior to leaving for Alamo City Comic Con.

So today is the day! I am getting ready to make my return to Alamo City Comic Con. I appeared at the show a year and a half ago when they had a show in May at the convention center on the Riverwalk. Now that they have moved to the Alamodome, I am scared beyond explanation. I do not do well with large crowds.

So, if my plans go good today, my wife and I have had breakfast somewhere along the Riverwalk and are prepping for the 3:00 start time of the show. I wish the show started earlier, but 3:00 will give us time to check out the Alamo and walk the Riverwalk. Maybe do some shopping too. I love San Antonio.

Today’s INKtober is a silly choice. I am mashing up ants. Charmy is portraying a parody of Adam Ant. I played around with a new background texture because that is what you do during INKtober. You play around with techniques and have fun. I get better and better every day in October over these past three years inking these INKtober drawings.
