The Great Fludini Returns!

Frenchy’s alter ego made her debut around four years ago in my comic strip. I figured it was about time I re-introduced everyone to this crazy character. The Great Fludini is a magician and escape artist who is not that good. In fact, she is terrible. That doesn’t stop the Great Fludini from following her passion.

This is a reflection of my own dedication to my passion for cartooning. On some level, I know I am not that good at this, but I love drawing cartoons. It is my passion. Even though my skills are never going to be good enough to make a living at this, I am so happy dreaming my dream. I urge everyone to follow their passions and to not worry about whether people think you are good at what you do. Just do it and have a blast.

I learned early on that one should not dwell on success by any means of measurement. Every show I appear at has been for a loss financially. Occasionally I will break even. I refuse to measure my success based upon how I perform at my shows. I am having a blast dreaming the dream. Who knows, maybe one day success with reign upon my efforts… or a syndicate will notice me and see my earnest potential.
