INKtober Day 3!

Here is Weaver as Moon Knight. Charmy isn’t going to get all the fun. Today we see Weaver getting into the action as Moon Knight. I wanted this sketch card to be as dark as possible. Moon Knight is a very dark hero so the drawing here needed to be dark.

I love taking my fun and light comic strip and turning it into something dark and sinister. I have done this a few times with comic strips featuring Warrior Wench Wendy. In the newspapers I run in, I love having a strip pop up  every once in a while where my style gets edgy and the feel of my work looks very gloomy…. all along delivering a goofy gag.

This sketch card was requested by someone attending Alamo City Comic Con. He has requested to purchase this so he will get first dibs. If he passes, this will be up for grabs. Something is telling me this card is as good a s gone.

So far INKtober is not getting near the hits I received in years past. Facebook and Instagram have screwed with their algorithms and us little guys are paying unfortunately. In my case, I am NOT paying… because I refuse to boost every post. I do boost one post each month. Most months I boost a Facebook Event Page. This month I will put $30 to Alamo City Comic Con in hopes of getting a few more people to the show and maybe to my table.

 See you all in San Antonio at Alamo City Comic Con in  few weeks! I will have original comic strip art used by newspapers across the country. I will also have my first treasury collection for purchase.
