DOWN TO THE WIRE!

Yep, Comicpalooza is just a few weeks away and I am sweating bullets. I must have my comic books printed and delivered to me by the 23rd in order have books at my show appearance. I may not have them in time, and if not, I will be so sad… but it’ll be fine. There are more important things is life other than selling a book or two.

Seriously, I am more concerned with cranking out the two commissions I have on order. One will be completed this week and is looking really cool! That commission is for a mash-up of Charmy as The Tick. I am adding Frenchy as American Maid and Weaver as Moth Man. They both are battling an ogre straight out of the Warrior Wench Wendy universe.

The second commission will be a NON-Charmy’s Army related masterpiece. I have been tasked with doing a Pink Panther mash-up with Peter Criss from KISS!!!! How cool is that? I will begin doing my research in a few days. I want to get the drum kit looming perfect as well as Peter’s outfit. The person requesting the commission is one of my favorite supporters so this must be perfect… and it will.

I had hoped to add a few more prints to my lineup for the show but I just do not have time. The comic book ate up all of my free time and killed my chances at having more art to sell. No big deal. I am hoping these books will move and add some additional income at my appearances. Last year, it was okay to end the year on a big loss. This year. I need to make a profit… a big profit. I need to sell 150 books before my next 6 shows are over. I stink at math, but I think I need to move 25 books per show. Now that I said that, I realize that is a TON of books to sell per show. Oh boy!
