Here is the third strip in a series following a storyline. Once I get syndicated into Daily newspapers, most of my strips will tell a story from strip one on Monday through strip six on Saturday. This is how Bloom County was written and that is how Charmy’s Army will be produced in the near future.

Frenchy can be a bit ditsy from time to time… and here is a prime example. These are tough to work into the strip because I want Frenchy to come across as a strong role model. I don’t over due the strips with Frenchy being a bit slow because she is very smart. Smart people can be a bit ditsy. I want Frenchy to seem real, with faults as well as strengths.

This will be my last show of the year. I was invited to a show in December just outside of Austin but my losses were too large this year to take on another risk. This next year, I am not doing any small shows. They are the reason I am so far in the hole financially.

I will only do a few shows next year, so please see me when you can if you get a chance. If next year goes bust again, I may not do any shows in 2019 so I can focus on distribution channels. I seriously believe that next year will be a huge year for me. I am playing it smart and plan on at least breaking even.
