Charmy as Mr. T

I was asked to mash up Charmy with Mr. T. Sounds easy, right? You just draw Charmy with a mohawk. How difficult can that be? Well, sorry. That would NOT be good enough.

Not for my readers anyway. My readers deserve a true mash up. After all these years of support, I owe each and every one of my readers the best I can give with every single drawing during INKtober.

I actually spent my lunch break looking up pictures of Mr T. Google is such an amazing invention! I pity the fool who doesn’t do search before they draw. A little prep and research will make your drawings SO much more believable. I want my mash ups to look as though the pop culture icon is the one mashing up with my characters…. I don’t want the drawings to look like my characters are making a parody impression of the pop culture icon. By reversing the goal as I do, the mash ups are coming out amazingly awesome!
