Frenchy as Red Sonja

Here is another cover with a terrible texture to its surface. The markers would not stick. Every coat would gum up from the previous coating so blending was impossible.

That said, it came out great. I have a cool technique when faced with a cover made of this cheap stock. You have to rush through it and do not try and fix anything.

Blending is impossible.

This cover marks Turtle’s first sketch cover appearance. I can’t believe this has not sold. I am seeing that no matter how good the cover is, the market is driven by the characters. This is why I sell so many more commissions than I sell pre-drawn covers.

People are looking for a certain character.
