This sketch cover was so freaking hard!!! The paper quality was extremely poor. The ink had a “spider” effect. In other words, you could not use a brush to get a perfect stroke. The edges bled so the lines looked fuzzy. I was able to adjust my strokes, making them a little thinner than normal, Afterwards, I went over each line with an extremely fine pointed pen and worked out the fuzziness… line by line.

The results look amazing. But the effort took hours.

The next issue creating this cover art came when applying the copic markers. The paper could not be worked very long before the surface became soggy. Blending was next to impossible.

I have four more of these covers. I am in no hurry to crank out one of these any time soon! lol….
