In the fourth comic strip dedicated to my cherished friend, Yogi Bear Jones, I passionately reminisce about the delightful moments when my wife would adorn our furry companions in whimsical outfits for our amusement. Our Chihuahua remained blissfully indifferent to his appearance, relishing in his carefree spirit… but Yogi, with his distinctive personality, fiercely detested donning human clothes, and with relentless determination, he would always find a clever way to shed those garments, transforming our laughter into a joyful spectacle each time.
Even a simple bandana around his neck was quickly discarded, its fabric slipping away as he made a daring sprint through the dimly lit hall. Yogi, with the wind whipping through his fur, wanted to streak through the house as God intended him to, feeling the exhilaration of freedom coursing through every fiber of his being, relishing the thrill of unrestrained motion and the joyful abandon of the moment. The soft padding of his paws on the cool floor echoed through the stillness, a symphony of spontaneity and vitality that could not be contained, as he reveled in the pure essence of being alive.
I miss that defiant spirit of his, that unwavering determination that radiated from him in everything he did. He lived on his terms, embracing life with a fervor that was contagious and inspiring. A free spirit, he wandered through the world with an adventurous heart, leaving traces of his vibrant energy everywhere he went. He showered us with love, offering warmth and kindness that made us feel cherished and understood, and his playfulness was a melody that brightened our days even in the darkest moments. His presence was a reminder to live boldly and authentically, to dance to the rhythm of our own beat without fear of judgment or conformity.
Yogi’s story is to be continued… Stay tuned for the next comic strip as I continue to share Yogi’s love throughout this Holiday Season.
