Isn’t it just hilarious how this never-ending joke keeps popping up? This ongoing gag sees the characters embracing their wacky alter egos alongside Charmy, demonstrating that the entire cast is as comical as the main star of my comic strip.

So, check this out, this comic strip’s story is actually inspired by my wild adventures in the toy industry! I came up with a gang of Whacky Beans characters, kind of a parody of Spin Masters’ Mighty Beans. One of the crew in Series Two was named Carrie Oakie. As far as I can remember, she didn’t quite make the final cut for series two. I am pretty sure that character was never produced for the toy line.

I do miss those toy industry days, even with the crazy hours. I mean, during show season, we’d be grinding until 1:00 am and then right back at it by 7:00 am, no kidding. And this went on for six days straight! Show Season was like a marathon, lasting about four months, so yeah, pretty exhausting stuff. The perks were awesome, but man, the stress was no joke. I’m definitely proud of my time in the toy biz, but there’s no way I’d go back. I wouldn’t have the time to whip up these hilarious comic strips if I went back to that grind in the toy industry.
