So… WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

“Of course, some spirits just cannot be killed”, admits Weaver. “There was one spirit that is still out there. His demise will be my legacy”.

“Who is this unperishable ghost?” asks Charmy.

“He is the ghost of the infamous pirate Claude Von Wagu, also known as Smoky Beard”. Weaver informs Charmy.

“Why did they call him Smokey Beard?” asks Charmy. “Was his beard a smokey gray color?”

“Nope”, answers Weaver. “It is because he puts candles in his beard… lit candles… so his beard smokes”.

“How does his beard not catch fire?” asks Charmy.

“Because he is a freaking ghost!”, exclaims Weaver. “Have you ever seen a ghost catch fire? Ghosts do not burn”.

“Well, I do not believe in ghosts”, says Charmy. “Ghosts are not real”.

“Well, of course, they are not real”, says Weaver. “They may not be real, but they do exist. They can only be seen when they want you to see them”.

“And you have seen them”, mutters Charmy.

“I have met them and fought them,” says Weaver. “Some people fight demons, I fight ghosts”.

“Not what you think that means”, says Charmy. “But look, let me tag along next time you go ghost hunting so I can see the ghosts for myself”.

“If they let you”, says Weaver.

“Yes, if they allow me to see them”, says Charmy as Weaver’s ghost detector lights up.

“Looks like it is time to kill some ghosts”, says Weaver. “Are you in?”

“You know, my spirit just isn’t in it”, says Charmy as he walks away.

“Ghosted again”, says Weaver.
