Weaver is Charmy’s sidekick. He acts as the straight man for a lot of Charmy’s jokes. Weaver gets to toss a few of the punchlines himself from time to time as we see here in this early strip.

Over the past 5 years, Weaver has evolved into a more “zany” personality. He still remains the one grounded character out of the main four stars. Without Weaver, the other three would be in jail and the comic strip would be over.
