Doc is the misguided camp doctor who could easily slide right into the mix with our four main characters. People often wonder if he is indeed a real doctor. I hear that Sarge uses his own practitioner when Sarge feels unwell. That leaves little to the credibility of Doc’s medical abilities.

Doc is sprinkled into the strip from time to time. This gives a great balance so that the readers do not get tired of seeing the same characters delivering the gags over and over again. A good balanced cast of co-stars makes for endearing entertainment.
